Marine-i Graduate Jobs Programme

Finding and recruiting the right people can be key to the success of innovative, growing businesses, but getting it right takes time, insight and recruitment expertise. Marine-i, The Cornwall College Group and Unlocking Potential are working in collaboration to support Cornish businesses connected to the marine sector who are looking to hire in new skills.

Whether you’re finding it a challenge to attract suitable graduate-level candidates, you’d like some support to create a more robust recruitment process or feel that there is scope to improve your employee induction programme to fast-track commercial impact, our experienced team can help.
 
The Marine-i Graduate Jobs Programme* offers:
  • Full, tailored recruitment support - from scoping job roles and creating adverts, to assisting with interviews and candidate feedback.
  • Discounted advertising packages to maximise job advert reach.
  • 6 or 9 month support from an Unlocking Potential Business Development Manager to help establish and track progress in the role.
  • £810 funded mentoring and training package to address any skills gaps.
  • £1,500 to £2,250 salary subsidy, dependent on the length of support.
 
This programme will support recruitment of graduates of all ages, not only recent graduates.
 
The programme is delivered by Unlocking Potential who have run successful graduate- level job programmes for the last 20 years, supporting more than 2,000 graduate and higher-level roles in local businesses. 
 
Unlocking Potential also have an active database of over 5,500 job seekers looking for graduate and more senior roles on their award-winning recruitment platform.

*Eligibility:
  • Successful candidates must have at least a degree-level qualification for the role to be eligible for support. 
  • Minimum salary requirement is £18k pro-rata.
  • Businesses must qualify as an SME based in Cornwall and be connected to the marine sector.
  • All support is subject to a successful application process.
