Marine Innovation Finalists in Cornwall Business Awards 2019
Unmanned Survey Solutions, a company that designs, builds and operates Unmanned Surface Vessels for the survey industry, has been nominated as a finalist in the Cornwall Business Awards for Ambassador of the Year award 2019. The company are based at the Hayle Marine Renewables Park in Hayle and have been experiencing rapid growth since the company’s Inception in 2014.

the Year Award, especially as the team have worked extremely hard to establish
our Cornish company in the international market.”

versatile Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV’s) and, with sales from the Middle East
to the Canadian Arctic, we are genuinely showing what Cornwall has to offer.“
The Ambassador of the Year award is made to the person and business that best
demonstrates success at looking outside of Cornwall to promote what this
wonderful part of the UK has to offer. A business that has broken expectations
and challenges perceptions and made a name for themselves to the wider world
and happy to shout about the role Cornwall has played in their business
success.
The Cornwall Business Awards are open to any
business or person based in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly and celebrate the
best of Cornish business, showing the world that all can benefit from their
innovation and drive.
The finalist businesses will make a pitch for the
winning spot during Showdown Day on 12th June. A panel will then quiz each
business on their entry before announcing the winner at the awards night on
27th June 2019.
